BORIS BECKER: THE RISE AND FALL

Boris Becker: The Rise and Fall is a two part documentary series for ITVX which tells the sensational inside story of how Wimbledon champion Boris Becker ended up bankrupt in a British jail. With exclusive testimony from friends, former competitors and some of the many women in Becker’s life, notably his estranged second wife, Sharlely. The films track Becker’s rise from the dusty tennis courts of his small German home town to winning Wimbledon in 1985 aged just 17 and onwards to become world number one –  and one of the world’s richest sportsmen –  and shows how he lost it all.
